Is anybody paying attention to Bush and Cheney? Heads up, two more reasons for impeachment!
Heads up!! More dangerous by the week: Bush and Cheney! Some attention to the two still in the White House, please!! Very dangerous, indeed.
It's as if we have become drunk or mesmerized, perhaps more like stupefied, by this year's very disappointing, saddening and very long Primary season.
But in the meantime, George Bush gets worse by the day.
This past week alone saw his White House declare, yes, indeed, we do water-boarding and Cheney cheering that, indeed, we "damn right" should do it!
Then there was the signing statement this past week when Bush declared that he could sign away parts of a new legislation brought before him for signing.
To read about the Bush approval of water-boarding as legal, read:

For yet another piece on Cheney's all to familiar cheering for torture, go to Raw Story:

By the way, did you know that when Attorney General Mukasey, who couldn't make up his mind whether waterboarding was torture or not, was approved in the Senate, Clinton, Obama, Biden and Dodd all failed to be present for the vote.

Some leadership, heh?
Regarding the latest "Signing Statement", this one pertaining to the 2008 National Defence Authorisation, Bush pretty much declared that if he has trouble with a given piece of legislation, he will just ignore it, with his signing statement.
"Bush's latest signing statement declares his right to ignore sections of the law establishing a commission to investigate U.S. contractor fraud in Iraq and Afghanistan, expanding whistleblower protections, requiring that U.S. intelligence agencies respond to congressional requests for documents, banning funding for permanent bases in Iraq, and prohibiting funding of any actions that exercise U.S. control over Iraq's oil revenues."/

We can not afford to take our eyes off these two, campaign time or no, because they are really more disastrous by the day.
